I am trying to get out of my comfort zone. This is a new experience for me. I live with my family in the country in Oregon on a hobby farm. We have a pygmy goat, 16 chickens, 3 dogs and 2 cats. I work full time and kept busy on my off hours by my husband and 2 daughters Juliet 16yrs & Juliana 12yrs.

I really enjoy reading and like a good mystery book. My favorites are Victorian era mysteries usually with a female lead. And of course Harry Potter!

I love to watch movies like Pride and Prejudice, Emma, Jane Eyre, Mansfield Park, Northanger Abbey and Persuasion. I really enjoy romantic comedies and mysteries but also love Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit.

Some of my favorite shows are Murdoch Mysteries, Haven, Warehouse 13, Ripper Street, Miss Marple, Pushing Daisies and The Bletchley Circle. We actually turned our cable off! We have a ton of dvds and Netflix so were fine but sometimes I miss it, so I watch a lot of OPB (Oregon Public Broadcasting) witch is way better then the old days. I also like to watch the channels with old movies and tv shows like ME TV.

I like to try different things but mostly dabble in card making and paper crafts and stamping. I just started using washi tape and want to find more reasons to use it! I have been really interested in decorating envelopes and pen pals. I like mixed media but have never tried it. I wish I could draw but cant so I doodle! I like pens and markers, stickers and embellishments. Anything you can use for card making, (but not limited to)

I will take postcards either way but would like them "naked" with a note.

I am new at this but have not joined to cheat or disappoint anyone. I take time and have fun picking things out so if anything is wrong I will be happy to fix it so please give me that chance. I will also rate and acknowledge as soon as I can and hope you will do the same.
