Hi! I am Alexandra. I adore history, reading, and travelling, so love things to do with history, museums, books, and travel.

I really, really love reading. I love anything from historical fiction and non-fiction to sci-fi. I also really love classic books. I don’t really enjoy reading romance.

I love finding out about other places, what it is like to live there, the culture, the food, the tradition etc. I am alexandraemily on postcrossing.

I love any type of postcard but my favourites are; Touristic card of your country (but not a multi-view please) Postcards from the Roald Dahl box set, Postcards from the desk of Jane Austen box set, Book cover postcards, Libraries and Museums, Literally any literary themed postcard, Castles or Great Estates, Subway Maps, Historical postcards, Vintage postcards, Ancient ruins, Outer space/Nasa.

I also love recieving handwritten letters from other people telling me about something they found interesting. I find it really interesting to read what is essentially the written version of someones voice.

If you could send me any coins or bank notes even if they are low denomination I would really appreciate it as I have a collection of them from various countries. I also love old coins.
