I am a girl who loves old things. I love the beauty and smell of old books. I love to sew clothes (vintage-style dresses for me, and funky baby clothes) and to cook (vegetarian) and to read good books and drink tea. I love mail and I love to make things. I teach preschool. I love beautiful fabrics and buttons. I love really old photos, especially of people/children, and all kinds of ephemera. I think mooses are really cool, and am pretty obsessed with birds (these days owls especially). I like japanese craft books and magazines, and japanese cute fabrics. I love natural things, beatiful plants, the beauty of the outdoors. I like warm colors, brown, tan, deep RED, and really anything that isn\'t baby-pink.

anything with moving lyrics. usually not any rap, hip hop, or sappy country. classic jazz, edith piaf, elliot smith, cat stevens, joanna newsom, cat power, the pixies, the grateful dead, etc. basically anything from any decade.

harold and maude. songs from the second floor. matilda. amelie. delicatessen. art and experimental films. eternal sunshine of the spotless mind. you me and everyone we know.

i don\'t really watch much tv (no cable) but i really like home improvement and cooking shows. i also like shows like CSI, etc.
