i am absultly in love with sewing and with beautiful fabric. i like to make all sorts of things, clothing, bags, house things....i am going to school for a bachelors in apparel design and construction. also, i am a montessori toddler teacher.

aside from sewing, i love scherenschnitte (german papercutting), silk-screening, embroidery, lino-block carving, sunprint paper, cooking, and gardening. i love birds and bird themes, especially owls. i like gnomes, and the color red. well, i like almost any color, except acid yellow and dark blue. i love print and type design and often find myself admiring the text and illustration in vintage books and patterns. i love dahlias, gerbera daisies, and sunflowers the most. i am always collecting vintage clothing sewing patterns (children's).

i like kawaii and japanese-cute, but i do not like anything traditional asian motifs. i'm not really the hugest fan of atcs and altered books, etc, but maybe just because of not having very much experience with them. i am not religious and absolutly do not want any religious-themed items....anything handmade ranks really high in my book.

i would love to recieve beautiful tea-towels (vintage, or appliqued, or embroidered, etc). really, any vintage fabric of linens are wonderfuls. i also like really old (1950s or before) photos with people. i would jump with joy for a pair of knitted or crocheted fingerless gloves!
