I love mixed media, texture and anything "outside the box". NO RULES is my motto!

I have a home studio from which I teach formal decorative arts as well as non-representational / abstract mixed media art.

My greatest pleasure is teaching. When I teach I learn so much! And when I learn, I am a better artist.

I love swaps because it opens me up to other art forms, other artists and new energies...energies I can then infuse into my work.

I have a pretty sunny disposition (hey, I get to do art all day...kinda hard to be gloomy!)

I share my home with my wonderful husband of 23 years. He's so supportive.

We have 3 cats, Scotia, Yukon and Tattoo and 1 rather large dog (Great Pyrenees Mountain Dog)named Gus. They all get loads of loving.

I live in the woods, where I am surrounded by wild animals, many species of birds and flora. All of which find their way into my art in one form or another.
