Summer holiday!
I am a German living in beautiful Norway (South Coast), am married for more than 20 years, have 3 teenagers. I am a math teacher for refugees.
I like classic music, mostly light classic. I like norwegian psalms and Taize songs. I like the songs from "The sound of music", "Mamma Mia".
ooohh, we don't have TV.... have never had. On DVD I watch "Big Bang Theory" (my son is becoming a physicist... good to know what to be prepared for), "How I met your mother", "Northern Exposure", "Muppet Show" ...
Paper. Everything with paper. Every kind of paper. And Pens, pencils, ink pens (the good old school ones where you have to fill in ink yourself). Writing (is writing a craft?).
Germany (Berlin, Northern Coast, Spreewald,...) Ukraina (Donezk, Kiev) Russia (Kemerovo) Tsjekkia (Prag, Brno, Cesky Krumlov) Bulgaria (Sofia, Nessebar, Warna) Hungary (Vonyarcvashegy) Australia (Brisbane, Cairns, Sidney, Port Maquarie, Townsville, Mackay) USA (Princeton, Philadelphia, Washington, Longwood Gardens and most loved: Winterthur Museum and Gardens) Norway (Kristiansand +++, Oslo, Stavanger, Halsnøy, Bø, Hovden, Rauland,....)
I like plushy teddy bears and photographies of them (and reading Winnie the Pooh and Paddington). I collect fridge magnets from places where I have been, but I also use them - so I like strong magnets and sturdy ones - those that can fall down from the top of the fridge-door and still look good. I also have funny ones and magnets with quotes on it.
I have a few angels made from nature materials (wood, wool, paper, ribbon). I like chocolate - since I do not want to eat so much I do prefer small amounts of good quality chocolate. I like most crocant, nougat, toffee, and strawberries in the chocolate... but almost everything else is fine too, but no ginger and chili.
I like to read. My favorite books are: "A hitchhikers Guide through the Galaxy" and all books from Eva Ibbotson (read her childrens books as well, they are wonderful). I like Paulo Coelhos books as well.
