Hello, my name is Deb and I live in Beaverton (a suburb of Portland), Oregon. I have two grown children, a son and a daughter, and four grandchildren, none of whom I get to see often enough. My daughter and family live in Colorado, and my son is in the Navy and he and his family are currently living in Spain.
I work full time in the title insurance business and am looking forward to retirement in a few years so that I can spend more time doing the fun things I enjoy.
I grew up listening to classical music and the Mitch Miller Band on Reader's Digest records. (Now if that doesn't date me, nothing does). So, my favorite music is classical, but I enjoy jazz and the Blues, country and popular. Come to think of it, I enjoy just about any music except hard rock and rap.
Mysteries and thrillers are my favorites. I enjoy reading them, but don't care to watch them on TV or in a movie. Perhaps because while reading you can create your own images, but watching TV or a movies sometimes becomes just too graphic. I also enjoy some autobiographies. For a relaxing read, not having to put much thought into it, a Clive Cussler will do the job.
Most of the time either TLC, the history channel or science channel are on. I really enjoy Sunday Morning, and my favorite sit-com is Two and One-Half Men.
My passion has become card making and I recently began doing ATCs. Knitting and crocheting are also favorites.
Likes: Earthtones are my favorite colors, also red and purple, most things Japanese, music, ladybugs, dragonflies, travel, flowers, yarns, paper...I'll think of more later.
Dislikes: Not much, but I'm not into the occult, witches, etc.
