The ATC swap for the kids is going to my son, Connor.

I'm Chelley, it's short for Michelle. I am a 31 year old, married, stay at home mom of 3. I really like to craft. I spend my time making cards and pictures for friends and family. I moved to the Richmond area of Va about 12 years ago with my parents when my dad was transferred here and have stayed close ever since. When my kids were born I stopped crafting for a while and realized like most of us do that something was missing.... me time! I have been steadily moving back into my me time and loving it! My husband travels a lot for work so I don't always have the time I want but I try to make it where I can. Cleaning up before the children grow up is like shoveling before the snow storm stops. How dumb am I? I still clean up. I do love them! I am all about having fun. Unfortunately life gets in the way of fun. But it's ok. Lets see... I live in Richmond, Va. I was transplanted here 10 years ago from LI, NY. Massapequa actually. I love my kids, I do, but there are three of them. And sometimes you just need to pop a valium, duck tape the kids and throw em in the closet. It's ok, we'll let them out for dinner.... tomorrow. I love faeries. Amy Brown is one of my favorite faerie artists. They are too cute! Crosses are another passion of mine. I love wearing them, looking at them, collecting them. I feel that they protect my heart. They are spiritual, beautiful, religious, and different for everyone. If you ever find a unique one, let me know!

About my kids..... Connor is 9. His birthday is November 30th and is a very hyperactive typical boy. I love him so much it makes me ache. He is my baby boy and I can't live without him. Connor loves art! It's hard to believe with a mom and dad that are so artistic but it's true! He draws very well and loves new art supplies! For his birthday he is getting a whole bunch of art supplies and a body form to learn how to draw the human body better! He also likes Pokemon, Video games and things for his video games or about them. We have a playstation2 and a wii. He is currently playing Kingdom Hearts 2 and would love some of the trading cards that are so hard to find. He is all boy in most other ways though. He likes to ride bikes and play made up games with his friends. Connor also likes digital photography. He takes pictures whenever he can.

Rhiannon is 8. Her birthday is May 23rd. She is a sweet and loving little girl. She is working hard on her challenges with school and she challenges me everyday to be a better person. Rhiannon likes princesses and Hannah Montana and Wizards of Waverly Place. She is desperately waiting for us to let her redo her room in HM gear but we have yet to do that. She loves to do crafts as well. Anything to paint, draw and write and she is a happy girl! Rhiannon likes to read Junie B. Jones books as well. She is very interested in collecting the series now that she can read them better!

Alanna is just 5 on August 9th and she knows how to test her mommy's patience!! She loves to make trouble and show me what I can endure in life. I am learning that everything I thought I knew I only knew a little bit. I learn more dealing with her and loving her than I ever thought I would. She is the princess in our house and she makes sure you know it! Alanna loves disney faires. She is all about her tinkerbell. She loves pink and purple. She likes rubber ducks too! Alanna is a typical princess! Very sweet and commanding or is it demanding?? Alanna also likes to do arts and crafts. I rub off on my kids! What can I say? Alanna likes to glue things to paper. She especially likes children's card kits. She has a lot of fun making people cards and writing her name in them!

My husband Tommy is 31. His birthday is Jan 29th, same as my mom! He is a technical locator and has learned a lot in his job. He enjoys building things. Just about anything. He tinkers with electronics a lot. His interests don't really go beyond that though. He enjoys his family and his tinkering. He's easy!

My mom and dad live about 10 minutes away and we see them quite often! My mom likes teapots. She collects them. My dad collects MONEY! =o) He likes the stock market except not lately. He's a bit depressed about it. My mom has always taken care of me and my kids emotionally. My dad has always taken care of us financially. My parents are great. They are always there for us and have huge hearts. No one could ever take their place.

I have one brother, Steven. He is 29 and his superpower is sleep! He sleeps all the time! And he loves it. That's about all on him.

My best friend, Marianne loves scooby doo. If you ever find anything scooby doo that is interesting or fun please send it on this way! She is such a freak for it. Update!!! I got her a tattoo of Scooby for a present when she was here last winter!! She was so shocked. It was great. She loved my tattoo artist and he loved her. It was awesome.

My favorite band is the Cruxshadows. They are a goth, synthpop, darkwave, dance band. I like all different kinds of music from pop to christian to goth to even some country. Not much country but some.

As far as movies go....Comedies, dramas, horror(if you watch with me), tearjerkers, anything but sports or war movies. I have no interest in seeing any sports giant be immortalized, thanks though.

Television I love the CW.... Gilmore Girls, Supernatural, One Tree Hill, Privileged, Gossip Girl, 90210, Beauty and the Geek, etc. I'm also addicted to lots of other shows like: Grey's Anatomy, Lincoln Heights, Ghost Whisperer, What not to Wear, My Boys, Psych, Monk, Food Network, TLC, HGTV, etc. There are more people... =o) Home improvement, self improvement, design improvement; I think it's all fascinating and worth the watch. Plus learning how to do a lot of it on a budget never hurt anyone, right? THANK GOD for DVR or I would never be able to keep up with my TV addiction.

Books are another thing... when I have the time I like to read. I love harry potter. I will read anything that is about the supernatural, the occult or scary in any way. I really like to read just about anything. I actually buy chapter books for my kids and read those before I let them read them.

I don't have any favorite brands of crafting stuff that I use. I just have stuff that I use. I find things I like and that's what I use. Some of the things I like are:

Fine and extra fine glitter

There are these little ball like things that come in colors that you can glue onto things but I don't know what they are called. They make a HUGE MESS but can be very pretty. They are by the beads and glitter stuff but are not beads, they are smaller than that. They come in packs of two and are sold in tubes. If you ever find them, I like these too!

Flowers to use with brads

Flower stickers that look like they are brads in various colors

Brads with and without pictures/gems on it(not gawdy please)

Stickers of flowers, butterflies, crosses, dragonflies, anything pretty.

"Quote Stacks" Sayings of love, religious, friendship, companionship or any funny (Stickers or vellum)

Elmers acid free clear craft glue

Small glue dots

Ribbons for cards and pictures(any that are not see through)

Skeleton leaves in various colors

Acrylic stamps and acrylic blocks

Letter stamps(have none yet)

Faeries (Amy Brown esp. for me and Disney ones for Alanna or things that are themed faerie)

Crafty stuff (pom poms, glitter for kids, googly eyes, pipe cleaners, feathers, etc.)

Glitter! We love glitter in any form!

Crosses (Silver usually, unusual ones that I wouldn't pick up just anywhere. I feel like crosses protect me and my family. I feel like they protect my heart so I almost always wear one. I am currently wearing the birthstone one my mother bought me.)

Anything "dark", gothic, occult

Tarot cards (I collect tarot decks. Go figure an episcopal who collects tarot!)

I think I've listed so much it may be overwhelming to someone but hopefully it's helpful!

What I don't really care for is:

Gawdy embellishments (things that are large or with large gemstones in them)

Things that are strongly scented with flowery scents

Nick knacks (we have plenty of these other than the fairies)

Brown things

Things that make messes

Things that are too delicate to put around in front of the kids

Things that make noise for no reason

Things that smell like cigarette smoke (My son has asthma)

Almonds in candy

Stuffed animals

I don't have much that I dislike in this catagory but I've given a good idea of what I like so hopefully this will help anyone who gets me!

I don't appreciate things that are badly done as I really do put my heart into what I make and buy. As most of us I will be greatful at anything that anyone tries their best at b/c I know the effort it takes to do these things and then put them out there for someone else to see and possibly judge. So I really want to connect with others who want to swap and have fun without swapping junk.

My favorite holidays are Halloween b/c it's spooky and the veil has been lifted between the living and the dead just for one night. I truly enjoy the supernatural aspect of it!

Christmas b/c I love to do for my family. I want to find things for people that they wouldn't find on their own or make them something and give it to them. It really makes me happy to see my kids smile and get excited about getting what they wanted from Santa!

And my birthday! Yes this is a holiday everyone! March 8th is a holiday, mark it on your calendar!!!! I think everyone should have off for my birthday. =o) It's a wonderful day of celebration.

I wear egyptian musk oil perfume.

I wear glasses b/c I have an astigmatism and my contacts bother my eyes.

We have 4 cats. Their names at Groucho, Panda, Noah, and Daisy.

We have one leopard geckos named Daxter.

We also have a red corn snake named Isis.

We also recently got two baby girl hooded rats named Phoenix and Dragon. So sweet and cute!

We love our pets very much, they are like our family as well.

We have a Honda Odyssey in dark blue and it is the best vehicle I have ever had! It's my dream car... I think.

I hardly ever wear make-up but think I look better with it.

I sleep with the radio on!

I'm addicted to checking my facebook.

I check my e-mail about 2 times a day and have 2 e-mail addresses.

I watch a young girl who goes to school with my kids. I also work P/T as a sub in the school cafeterias.

I love taking pictures of my kids and putting them up on my facebook when I get around to it.

I will keep in touch with the people I swap with and hope people will do the same with me so that I can not only learn quickly but so that our swaps will be successful! I would hate to have a bad swap and be turned off to this. I'm truly excited about the prospect of swapping with anyone and getting the creative energy from new people! I think this is going to be lots of fun. You hear horrible stories but there are so many more good ones. My husband and I don't make a lot of money so I am trying to pace myself with swaps that I know I can do by myself with my crafty mind and heart. I hope to meet lots of other crafty people along the way that will want to show me the right direction here. And any help you can give me on what the process is here once you are in a swap would be helpful. Thanks for reading!
