I'm an avid knitter and home winemaker. I have a job(what I do for money) and a career (what I do for money that I actually like) and neither are as fulfilling as my hobbies or my cat. I'm a full-time graduate student hoping to be done in a year. I promised my advisor I'd find no more new hobbies after learning to spin wool, knit, and make beer and wine.

Dexter, Dr. Who, Eureka, Grey's Anatomy, The Dollhouse (which was picked up for another season!), Sanctuary, and lots of DVDs.

Anything by Octavia Butler, favorite Genre's are sci-fi,and fantasy. Because I'm in graduate school reading for pleasure has pretty much disappeared so if I'm reading anything now it's probably something I've read hundred times before.

Knitting socks and spinning fleece. I'm a home winemaker and I know that many consider that a craft, but I'm not that good so I'm more of a hobbyist.

I'm not one to go out and spend loads on music but I love going to see live bands. If I had to pick my faves I would list alternative rock and acoustic, some jazz . I'm a fan of the old ani difranco, cloud cult, tv on the radio, franz ferdinand, doria roberts, to name a few.

Blade, Blade II, Blade trinity, all the Matrix movies, Shaun of the Dead, Planet terror, Lucky # Slevin, Boondock Saints, Soul Plane, Ultraviolet, Must Love Dogs, Penelope, Freeway...you get the idea i have a thing for b-films, some horror, all zombie films (except for that crappy movie 28 days and 28 days later), some romantic comedies, action films.

LIKES: My favorite color is yellow.I have a fondness for things with cherries on them.it came to me in a dream and ever since cherry memorabilia have found their way into my life. Yarn, all kinds of yarn.

COLLECTS: I always buy shot glasses from places I travel to. I collect smashed pennies. Comic books: Marvel titles, but only the old ones, not that reprinted crap they're doing now on that glossy paper, but the beauties on newsprint, that fade with age.

DISLIKES: Bugs. Dolls. Baby stuff. Cooking.
