22-3-12 Missing I apologize to everyone that I have let down. I had a medical issue come up and my medication threw me through a loop and messed badly with my head. I know I have an outstanding swap that I will be sending this week. Thank you to everyone that messaged me to see how I was doing.

About Myself and my family

I am a mother of 2...very well spaced in age. The youngest has been an inspiration to my crocheting in the past 2 years. This is my Princess.

My Partner

He has been my saviour these last couple of years. Without him and my hobbies I would be in a rubber room by now. I have had some health issues and crafting gets me away from it. His only dilemma has been where do we put all this stuff when we have a small house. I love him and he is starting some crafts too. He was raised as an outdoors child. Fresh food (veggies and meat), fishing, hunting etc. His family uses everything so there is no waste. As they were taught by their ancestors.

He is my saviour when I am having a bad day. He helps with our little one quite a bit.

• want to try to tat again...learned many many moons ago and need to relearn

• also would love to learn how to Smock as it is a lost art in my family and I think it should come back. Update Due to the Awesome Generosity of a fellow Swap-Bot member I have started to teach myself this craft. Am going to do my best at it and see how it goes.

  I tend to hibernate in the winter due to the cold

FOLLOW MY OWN, unless it is holiday specific for a swap I am not into religious items. I do not follow conformity

Smells

• Natural - flowers, fruits, spices, herbs
• Artificial - the ones that are too strong in one aspect to be natural
• Fresh baking - Hips love it so as well...oh well more walking to post office

Foods

Unless I am looking for a food there is not much that I would be interested in. I tend to watch what I eat. Medical issues easier to keep it off then to try to loose it again.

Recipes are another story as I bake as gifts to friends and family. More thought into it than most store bought items.

• yarn - love jewel tones or something that can be used to create for someone else

• quilting material - going to start my first one soon

• unusual crochet notions - something that can be used to enhance a crocheted item

• scrapbooking embellishments - still working on a couple of them for others

Pets

I have 2 four legged members to my family. I do try to keep everything pet free. But as we know a stray hair can come in now and then.

Valentine is our 9+ year old boxer/lab cross. She has been with us for all but the 8 weeks with her mother. And still thinks she is a lap dog.

Panzer is a 2 year old domestic short haired cat. She was adopted by my oldest daughter but I think she has taken to the youngest more

Smoke

I do smoke but my house is smoke free. My children live here and they do not smoke. Everything has been kept in plastic storage so that I cannot 'contaminate' anything. LOL. I have friends with allergies so wouldn't want to make them sick either.

I use scrap yarn to create blankets, hats, mitts etc that I donate to local charities. I know myself that I have difficulty making ends meet from time to time and everything helps.

And no child in the neighbourhood should have cold hands and heads in the winter. NOT IN CANADA If we can keep them on the Children is another thing. lol

I chose this name as I have been blessed with 2 of Heaven's Creations and they are the one's that have "inspired" me to start crafting again.

I am just starting out so "Newbie" is what I am. Might know something better but still not as fast at them.

I love crafting and share that with my 2yo DD. I am a SAHM to her and wouldn't give up for anything. I have an 18yo DD who has moved out on her own and is starting out. "I can make her that!"

Baby needs hats to keep warm, blankets, and...

That is where some of my leftover yarn goes.

The little one is a typical 2yo girl...loves everything and it is all "hers". I love letting her explore with different mediums to allow her to learn.

The 18yo on the other hand is anything but normal. She doesn't fall into any type. She loves to draw and color, write poems, and online story games (writing).
