I make art. I've always made art. During some periods a lot, and some periods a little. Depending on how my day job was going. When I decided I'd had enough of the day job I quit and took up painting full time. . I cannot do the large paintings any longer so I am expanding my art making into other areas......watercolour, inks, coloured pencil . I am also learning to design and make jewellry with metal, stones and beads.

I thought joining swaps would be fun to trade my small format art. March 01 I joined my first swap because poppies are my favourite flower.

My musical tastes are somewhat eclectic. I like some classical, some jazz, some classic Rock, and even some techo music.Some of my particular favourites are the Beatles, Iron Butterfly, Led Zepplin, Dave Brubeck, Miles Davis, collections of old rock from the fifties and early sixties. I can't decide if "Nessum Dorma" from Turando, or the adagio from Sparticus is the most beautiful music written. More than you wanted to know.

Not a prime time tv fan at all. I dislike reality shows.

I like embroidering. I used to crochet, but not recently. I like paper crafts too. That's in addition to my artwork, which now encompasses a variety of stuff.

I live in a very small rural hamlet, in Southern Manitoba. Winters are usually long and very cold. Summers short and hot. Gardening is a real challenge. But, it's quiet, no noise pollution, no gangs, no crime, no cops, no street lights. It's sort of the back of beyond. I've been here over five years, after having been an urban downtown dweller all my life.
