Note about swaps Typically I send my swap immediately once they are assigned. I would never flake on a swap so if you have not received a swap from me then please message me. If it was lost somehow then I will send something else asap.
I'm a 28 year old wife to Jeff and mom to an adorable little boy Maxwell who turned 3 in August. I work full time for my cities 9-1-1 center and with any extra time I have not loving life with my family I love crafting. If I had to put myself into this little box I would tell people that I'm a loud person who loves to be around people and do things for others. I love color and prints and some people would say that I like anything that is different. I love yellow and I'm a modern girl but I have an old soul and love things that are retro. I'm really into vintage tea towels and aprons. I love things from the 50's and 60's. I think that every decade has something to offer in the world of style and decor.
Popular music from the 80's is a must since I idolized my sister who is older grew up in the midst of the 80's. Also my husband has shown me that just because music seems strange doesn't mean it's not good. I like Postal Service and Junior Senior. Some of my guilty pleasures include Wilson Phillips and Neil Diamond.
I love Julie Garwood books and Nora Roberts. I don't read sci-fi or mystery. If it has a happy ending then I'll give it a chance. I have to admit however that I am "one of those people." I read the last chapter of a book before I will read it to make sure I find the ending acceptable.
Disney movies are a big hit at my house having a little boy. When I'm home sick and get the TV to myself I watch a classic "chick flick." Anything with a happy ending is good and if it's set to music then it's a must. I love old musicals Hairspray, Chorus Line, Singing in the Rain...
My husband says I'm a reality TV freak. I make us watch all of them. I love Top Chef and Project Runway the most but I give them all equal viewing time. Other than reality TV I watch Law and Order SVU and Cold Case with a few other feel good comedies mixed in. I also love classic TV shows like Little House on the Prairie and shows from when I grew up like Beverly Hills 90210. With my little guy I watch a lot of Disney movies but I wouldn't call those my favorites.
I haven't tried everything, but I haven't met a craft I don't like. I love scrapbooking and making new crafts for my son. And even though I'm new at it I enjoy sewing too and recently fell in love with crochet.
fabrics, anything vintage, buttons, sewing notions, scrapbooking supplies, old thread spools, ribbon, all shades of yellow, patterns, misc craft supplies, cook books/recipes (vegetarian and crock pot are my favorite), funky jewelry, old board game pieces (scrabble, monopoly, dominos etc...), misc things to organize,
I don't really dislike many things but I will say that I am very sensitive. I cant use any soaps or lotions that are scented. Also I'm allergic to nickel and bananas.
I have a little boy named Maxwell that is 3. He loves the color red, Toy Story, Alvin and the Chipmunks, Cars and Word World. He also loves anything that involves cars, has buttons or music and instruments. Maxwell is special needs and unfortunately has yet to be diagnosed. He has been through more experimental testing than any little boy should have to go through. He cant speak but he is learning sign language and working with therapy. And he recently learned to walk. It's a long journey but I wouldn't trade being his mommy for anything!
My husband’s name is Jeff and I adore him! He is a baseball fanatic and has an entire room devoted to it. He LOVES the Texas Rangers and roots them on every year. He collects both MLB and NBA autographs and memorabilia. Since we are from Oklahoma he likes The Oklahoma city Thunder, but his first love will always be baseball. He is a vegetarian and has been a little over 20 years now. He loves sour patch kids, mike and ikes, mounds and cherry sours. He listens to obscure music that most people have never heard of and loves stupid shows like Eastbound and Down, Robot Chicken and anything that is going to have cheap laughs. You can never offend the man even if you try. He is a quiet guy until you get to know him and then you either love him or hate him. There is no in between. As for me clearly I LOVE him!
