Hello, My name is Melissa. I am 29 and currently live in New Jersey. I am single and have a beautiful orange and white cat named Poe. He will be two next April. I love winter and cold nights, apple cider and board games. I recently finished a seven month certificate program for culinary arts and am an aspiring pastry chef. I currently work as an Assistant Baker at a local grocery start which I think is a fine way to kickstart my culinary career.

Favorite Colors: My favorite colors are purple (all shades), blue (again all shades) and black. I also love silver. My favorite combinations are black/red/white, pink/brown, purple/silver, blue/silver and black and purple.

Scrapbooking Materials: I love to scrapbook and even though my actual scrapbook is seriously lacking, I do scrapbook in my journal a lot. Papers, quotes, journal tags, ribbons, stickers, punches, etc are all wonderful.

Buttons: I would love to receive any buttons (one inch or smaller) having to do with my interests, favorite music, etc. Any and all would be appreciated!

Cooking/Baking: As I mentioned, I am an aspiring pastry chef. I cook and bake all the time. I would love recipes, cookbooks or samples of your own goods (properly wrapped of course). I adore cupcakes and make them quite often. I have a subscription to Food Network Magazine that is about to end. I would love any back copies of Food Network, Martha Stewart, Gourmet, Bon Appetit, Cooks Illustrated or Food & Wine magazines. Of course I'm also open to any others that contain both pictures and recipes.

James Dean/Marilyn Monroe: I have been obsessed with both actors since I was 14 years old. I have pictures of both on my walls currently and would love anything that has to do with either. Postcards, drawings, books, atc's, magnets, keyrings, etc.

Mix Cd's: I LOVE themed mix cd's. I have several themed cd's that I have created (I share the songs on my LJ if interested) and would love to hear yours, especially if you enjoy similar music.

Faerie Tales: I am obsessed with faerie tales. Especially the darker versions like grimm's. But anything faerie tale-esque would be wonderful. Whether it's art you have made, magnets, books, stickers, stationery, etc.
