Hi everyone! I'm a queer Millennial artist, hobbyist writer (mostly queer romance, and fantasy), small-business owner (fantasy pins), and novice violinist.

I have two dogs (Pembroke, and Cowboy Corgi). I'm conversationally functional in Japanese. (I lived in Japan for 3 years between 2010~2015, my last visit was November of 2024!)

I love to travel and daydream about traveling. Some of my hobbies are enamel pin collecting, Tarot card reading, journaling, cardmaking, crochet, embroidery, reading, & video games (Final Fantasy XVI is my favorite! Otherwise I mostly like to watch my partner play games like Resident Evil and Silent Hill.)

I like music, especially dreampop, trance, melodic dubstep, electropop, Jpop, Jrock, indie rock, emo & grunge rock.

my local post office

✍🏻 has a really early pickup time, 8am I believe, so when I mark 'sent,' that means I've passed it over the counter or dropped off in the indoor mail drop box, and it will most likely be postmarked the next day!
✍🏻 I'm a stickler about my commitments so I will always send out on time, unless there's an actual emergency or serious sickness. If you don't receive something from me, please reach out! I don't have any 1s yet, and I don't want one, haha!

misc. faves

✍🏻 stamps & stamp math! (I have relatively few lower denominational stamps from yesteryear, but I love them all! My favorite newer Forever stamps are the Janice Joplin, Goodnight Moon, any related to outer space, any that are holographic! I even like canceled stamps!)
✍🏻 I love reading (and writing!) long notes - please feel free to ramble!
✍🏻 Recycling! You might find me cutting stickers off of envelopes if they still look nice, to decorate your envelope with. Feel free to do the same for me! I also love using paper scraps from planners/ calendars/ posters/etc. in my collaging projects. Feel free to send me any cute "used stickers"/pretty papers that would otherwise end up in the trash! (I don't really use newspaper or magazine clippings though!)
✍🏻 If we're in a swap where the 'assignment' is to exchange 'flat goodies,' and you want some ideas (I'd love anything!) some of my favorite 'types' of flat things are:
• anything handmade, atcs, things from small art shops,
• washi samples, tiny journaling stickers,
• cards (like tarot cards, playing cards), dye cut shapes, ephemera
• sheet music, scrapbooking paper scraps, pages from old books, pages in foreign languages,
• random postcards, stationery, tri-fold cards
• recipe cards, recipes from old magazines,
• anything printed in the 1990s or before
• bookmarks, bookplates
