My name is Jacki and I'm happy to swap with you!
I live in Michigan. I am a lifelong learner and work in education. Autumn is my favorite time of year. I value kindness, diversity, equality, justice, the earth, animals, good books, and a hot cup of tea. I enjoy time with friends and family, but also need alone time every day for sanity. I am trying to simplify and adopt a more minimalist approach but find it most challenging in terms of fabric and swapping supplies!
I enjoy making decorated envies and putting together little packages and RAKs. I’m not super crafty, but will try easy paper crafts now and then.
I love to sew/quilt and make pillowcases, place mats, table runners, quilts, bags, etc. Message me if interested in a private swap for handmade items.
I am trying to downsize my paper craft supplies. If you have me as a partner, follow swap guidelines but feel free to keep it minimal. No need to send lots of extras - leaving them out will never impact your rating/heart from me.
FAVORITE THEMES - I mostly enjoy floral, botanical, nature, bicycles, artsy, earth friendly, books, languages, tea & accessories, animals, non-English languages, watercolor. I prefer artistic over realistic images.
CHATTY LETTER - with no obligation to write back - write about anything, no topic off-limits.
BAGS - tote bags, little pouches, market bags. Do not care for bags with store names/logos or bags with human faces on them. Love handmade!
HANDMADE - handmade treasures are the best. If you ever want to do a private handmade swap, I would love to sew something up for you - message me if interested!
SOCKS - fuzzy no-slip - wear them every day in the house
VICKS INHALERS - use these inhaler sticks to pep me up when I need a lift
JUNK JOURNAL - I am starting to junk journal, very much in the learning stages, appreciate any tips, ideas, items, etc.
Items that land in my recycling bin are childish, Disney, fantasy, mythical, celebrities, fandom, fashion, sports, religious or spirituality (angels, Bible verses, goddesses, tarot cards, astrology, etc).
Unless specified in the swap description, please do not send traveling items (friendship books, slams), random scraps of paper, memo sheets, dollar store items, touristy items, beauty products, jewelry, used postage, postcards, ATCs.
Most swappers are good people with good intentions. I will not look for reasons to down-rate and can be very understanding when things do not go as planned. I presume positive intent and give the benefit of doubt whenever possible.
Communicating solves a world of problems - if you mess up on a swap, just message me, and chances are it will be fine. If I mess up, I will do everything I can to fix it to your satisfaction.
