I'm 50 years old and live in Bangor, Pa. with my husband of 27 years and 4 cats. I have two grown children...Martin and Jessica.

I love folk music, soft pop and oldies. I don't like hard rock, metallica or rap.

I LOVE books! I read constantly! My favorite authors are Julie Garwood, Amanda Quick/Jane Ann Krentz, Diana Palmer. I read a lot of books on photography, genealogy, scrapbooking, cleaning, organization, etc. etc. etc.

I am not much of a TV or movie watcher. I do like the series Bones on television. I also enjoy the Antiques Roadshow and I do enjoy the History channel.

I'm very crafty. I've probably tried most crafts out there. In recent years I've had to cut back to only a few crafts as I don't have time for them all :0(. I scrapbook and quill the most now. I love to make custom items. I've made several albums for people, custom paper piecings, custom quillings, etc.

My hobbies are genealogy, photography, quilling, reading,. scrapbooking, photo editing and restoration and quite a few more. Those five keep me pretty busy though.

I collect salt and pepper shakers, toothpick holders, thimbles, teapots, Quarry Critters, etc.

On Mondays I attend a quilling group. On Thursdays, I go and spend the day at the Sussex County Library.

I have a genealogy project I am working on. I am trying to get all the birth, death and marriages online from The New Jersey Herald from 1814 - 1991. So far I am only up to 1829. I have a website/blog that I posts these too. So many had ancestors in Sussex County, but are unable to get there. I'm also a volunteer for Find A Grave and take many pictures of headstones.

I LOVE photography! I am especially interested in Macro Photography. I'm constantly taking or trying to take pictures of insects. There is a small garden and pond next to the library. I go out there for lunch and spend many happy hours taking photographs. Not in the winter though. I tend to hibernate then as I do not like snow or the cold!

A scrapbooking friend turned me onto swap-bot and I am really looking forward to being part of it.
