Hey, I just wanted to say TEEEEEEEEEEEEEETTTTTTTHHHHH!!!!, or something to that effect. The envelope actually came last Sat., so I apologize for not thanking you sooner for some an odd (and oddly intimate) gift. One little capsule had come open during shipping and a few of the teeth had neatly cracked apart - I am sure I can glue them back together but I might use the halves as is. They are already being put to use in a piece for show in September/October! Thank you!!!
Of all the books you have and aren't reading Anne Dillard's The Writing Life was probably the most perfect one you could have sent me. If you had to Wiki her you probably don't understand how very well respected she is. I've read this and her other books but any writer can reread this book every few years and feel both inspired and humbled. I gave my copy away and I'm happy to have another.The others I would not be likely to reread so give them to someone else who appreciates really good writing. Many thanks to you.
