I promise to always send out my swaps on time and to always rate when I get a package in return. I live in Japan so it might take a while for them to get to you unless it's a big package and I decide to send by EMS (fastest but a little more expensive).
I pretty much almost always PM you to let you know that I have sent out something just so you know that something is coming your way.
If there is ever a time you don't receive anything from me, PLEASE PM ME! I will resend anything that doesn't get to you the first time!
I'm a new stay-at-home mom to a almost 1-year- old baby girl. We moved to Japan 3 1/2 years ago right after we got married so my husband can work here. I just discovered "swapping" and thought I'd give it a try while I'm home with my daughter.
Before I became a stay-at-home mom, I was working at an international school doing IT work part time while trying to get an Art degree at an American University in Tokyo.
Before Tokyo, my husband and I lived in California. We met when we were attending a university there but didn't officially start dating until after we had graduated, though we were best friends for 5 years before that. We got married a year and a half after we started dating.
We decided to move halfway around the world because it was his dream to work in Tokyo. He was willing to give it up so I can pursue my dream in art. I told him that I can do art anywhere so we packed all our things and moved here!
I love anything that's art. I was studying photography and bookmaking when I found out I was going to have a baby so both of those are on the back burner until my daughter is old enough for school.
I also do a lot of knitting, crocheting and cooking.
I also love to make all sorts of things. It just depends on my mood and what I feel like making that moment. Lately, though, I've been enjoying making toys for my daughter. She likes them since they're made just for her!
I also love good packaging designs. I collect a lot of nice boxes and gift tubes that were used to hold sweets and other small items.
I've recently discovered the joys of making ATC's and I've been loving it!
I love watching Gilmore Girls, Friends, the CSI series and the Law and Order series. I also really love watching stuff from the Discovery Channel, mainly Man vs. Wild and Mythbusters.
Since moving to another country and having a baby, I haven't watched anything new so I don't know any of the new series that are out there.
I love rock. Red Hot Chili Peppers, Weezer, Linkin Park, Green Day are just a few of the bands that I love to listen to.
I've also taken a liking to J-pop since that's what I hear a lot of these days.
I also like a lot of the children songs I've learned to sing to my daughter.
I love Chasing Amy, Amelie, the BBC version of Pride and Prejudice and a Japanese movie called "Ima, Ai Ni Yukimasu" aka. Be with you.
My favorite book is Emma. Actually all Jane Austen books are pretty good.
Honestly, I don't really have anything that I really want to receive from people. I'm seriously not that picky and I just like to get things in the mail that's not advertisement or junk mail. I think I enjoy making and sending things to people more. So I welcome pretty much anything you send me (as long as it doesn't fall into my "dislikes" category)

I would love to hear what you wrote in the last swap! The questions were really good!
Hi! If you can get 5 package swaps rated by the join-by date you'd be very welcome to join my dishcloth swap. (Unfortunately I can't count email and postcard swaps). If not, there'll be more swaps later.
Oh, laughter, we meet again! I hope you have a lovely time in this swap as well. :) I opened up your profile and went, "Oh! I recognise her!"
Keep well!
You have a beautiful blog and I am honoured to have read some of it! Thank you for that opportunity!
