Stay at home mom of a 5 year old girl. I have an esty store where I sell toys and stuff for kids. I am working on changing it up a little bit though due to the new lead etc laws regarding kids stuff. I also sell vintage stuff on etsy in another store called vintage novelties.
I live in Washington State, near Portland OR with my husband, daughter, three cats and three dogs.
I like sewing the most I guess but I also do needle felting, wet felting, drawing, and paper crafts. I just started getting into paper cutting. I am obsessed with japanese craft books and have tons of them. I also really like vintage craft books and patterns.
I enjoy fabrics and amass alot of them just for the sake of having them. I buy new and vintage. Most recently I have been buying up vintage sheets.
I also have bags and bags of vintage lace and trim as well as a couple of jars of old buttons.
I love all types of fabric. I am mostly into modern or vintage prints. I like things with lots of color. Green is my favorite color but with fabrics I will buy any colors. I like brighter colors better than muted ones. I esp. like working with linen and bamboo fabric and combining with cotton prints and vintage lace and trim for effect.
I have never made a quilt but would like to try one.
I made my daughter a waldorf doll for Christmas and also have some ideas floating around for that.
This year I decided to start doing some swaps to get my creative juices working.
I mostly listen to country or top 40 pop type music. When I was a teenager I mostly listened to punk rock type music. Big change Huh ? LOL
