About Me

Hello! I live in Austin, Texas, land of tacos and sunshine. I was an avid snail mailer in my late teens and early twenties and really miss fun surprises showing up in my mail box (plus, I finally have the PO box I always dreamed of!). I'm married and have two little boys.

Favorite Crafts

My main creative outlet is journaling, and I often incorporate photos, paper ephemera, stamps and watercolor into my notebook. I also knit and sew.

Favorite Television

I don't watch much TV but I do enjoy This Is Us and Younger, and frequently rewatch Felicity and Gilmore Girls.

Favorite Music

John Mayer is my boyfriend. Also: Death Cab for Cutie, Ray LaMontagne, Iron & Wine, Bon Iver, pretty much anything that might be playing at a coffee shop.

Memoir: Long Live the Tribe of Fatherless Girls by T Kira Madden, Body Full of Stars by Molly Caro May, Places I Stopped on the Way Home by Meg Fee, Homing Instincts by Sarah Menkendick

Romance Novels: Roomies by Christina Lauren, The Hating Game by Sally Thorne, The Simple Wild by K. A. Tucker

I also love Joan Didion, Sylvia Plath, and Curtis Sittenfeld.

Comment: wow...how often do you do this workout?! weight training and 30 minutes of cardio...you are my hero :o) usually doing weights kills my cardio and the other way around so i try and do them on opposite days, if i do weights at all :( i can't wait to download and listen to the indie soup runners, thanks so much for adding that, i'm really looking forward to some new update music!
