I've been a face and body painter since 2001, and while I work very hard at what I do, I love it. The website to see what I do is above.

I also homeschool and teach at a homeschool cooperative (see link above to my blog). I teach science, math, history, and (you guessed it) art! Homeschooling is my full-time job, face and body painting is my part-time job, and creating ATCs for other people is my favorite hobby.

I create my ATCs with watercolor and markers, as they are my favorite mediums, and hand-draw almost everything. While I like to receive collages, paper-piecing and mixed-media ATCs, I don't appreciate sticker-slapping, since it takes me at least an hour or more (sometimes up to 3) to create one card. My favorite cards to receive are hand-drawn and mixed-media cards.

I love being Catholic and everything about it. I attend Mass right before I go to a drawing get-together with friends on Sundays - where I get inspired to draw comic characters.

While I'm a devout Catholic, I also love the weird, dark, creepy, silly, and mischievous things of our world - and not of our world. Some of my favorite creatures aren't even real: mermaids, orcs, ogres, trolls, shades, unicorns, dragons, hydras, fairies, zombies - you name it.

I play World of Warcraft in my "free time," and I love reading graphic novels, with my favorite of all-time being Elf Quest. I also love period romances, based on the middle-ages.

The Tudor time-period is my favorite time in history, with the Colonial times being a close second.

I also love everything about Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.

My favorite movies are end-of-the-world (or region) kinds, like The Day After Tomorrow, Volcano, The Core, and 2012, to name a few.

I'm a sucker for all kinds of big Hollywood blockbuster movies, with my favorites being Transformers, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, and anything Marvel/DC. I only go to the cinema to see these types, otherwise, I'll watch it on DVD.

I don't really watch too much TV, but I do watch a couple of select shows, with my favorite being The Walking Dead. I also love Criminal Minds.

I don't like fake fruit smells or flavors.

Save those fun little collage papers and stickers for some who will use them! It's not that I don't like them (they're super-cute), but because I hand-draw everything, I won't use them, and they just get passed on to the next person. If you receive some from me, it's because I'm passing on the love. LOL
