I love to knit, quilt and read. When I have time I do all three. I travel quite a bit, spend time each year at Walt Disney World and at our weekend getaway spot (in NH). I also really enjoy going on cruises and have gone on at least one a year for the last 3 years. This year will be two, one in Februrary and one in July.

I really enjoy a lot of different types of music, oldies from the 50's to the 70's, country - classic and contemporary. Irish music makes my soul sing and Garth Brooks makes my heart sing still.

Latest was the new James Bond, also The Queen was very good. Love Disney Classics - annimated and live action. The three lives of Thomasina still makes me cry as does Pollyanna.

Top Chef, Project Runway, CSI, Old NYPD Blue season 1, Survivor, any Home Decorating show especially BBC versions. Keeping up Appearances, Ugly Betty...the list goes on and on

Knitting - i am newly interested in stranded colorwork - norwegian mittens/hats and Elizabeth Zimmerman designs (just for there simplicity and beauty) - I don't like novelty yarn at all - or acrylics, I would rather have 1 nice ball of good wool rather than multiple balls of junky stuff. I am a bit of a yarn snob, and love pretty sock yarn (indie dyers are great, I love getting stuff from Fiber Festivals in New England. Sewing Quilting Scrapbooking anything that is messy can be fun too
