Hello, Canadian crafter here! Here are a few things about me:

I love animals! I have two cats and a wiener dog. My office window looks out into my backyard which is great for watching the birds and squirrels go about their days.

I grew up close to the ocean and go back as often as I can. Anytime I get a chance to spend time by the water, I'll take it! Beach, waterpark, lake, whatever I can get.

My favourite season is fall with all of the spooky fun and costumes to enjoy. There's nothing better than sitting with a cozy cinnamon treat and crocheting. An autumn tradition of mine is walking through my neighbourhood to look at all the decorations.

I've been a part of the Nerdfighter online community for over a decade. This group follows John and Hank Green, otherwise known as the Vlog Brothers on youtube. Their enthusiasm and charitable endeavours are so inspiring! DFTBA

I enjoy watching movies at my local independent theatre. It's so interesting to watch movies made by international or smaller production companies to see stories from a different perspective. My favourites are usually dramas, thrillers, romance, or sci-fi.

Thrift shopping is a hobby of mine. It's super fun to search for treasures at my local shops. I like how it helps me avoid shopping for fast-fashion, be less wasteful, and save some money as well.

I listen to a lot of audio books. The apps Libby and CloudLibrary are awesome since you can access them for free with a library card. I listen to a solid 50/50 split of fiction and non-fiction titles.
