i'm a vegan anarchist who likes tasty treats, interesting recipes and unusual things. i'm into prison justice/abolition organizing, volunteer sexual assault counseling, animal rights, and good self care. i box regularly and ride my bike constantly.
for work i spend my time talking about sex and drugs as a sexual health and harm reduction educator for an hiv clinic.
i have 2 dogs (a lab/bullmastiff mix, and a border collie mix) and 2 cats (a fiesty tuxedo and a lazy russian blue mix). i also foster dogs through a couple of different no-kill, 100% foster-based animal rescues. it makes for non-stop animal time fun at my house.
i'm a pro-choice doula that is into the full spectrum of doula work (birth, postpartum, abortion, miscarriage, and so on) and more radical perspectives of birth work (not just 'women' give birth, not just married/coupled/relationship-ed people give birth, not just opposite sex partnerships create babies, not everyone is happy to have a baby, and male-bodied partners are not always bumbling idiots) - that is a constant struggle in the birth work world where the perception is that all of our work is supporting women happily married to oblivious men giving birth to babies that they are ecstatic to have.
no religious items please.
i'm into punk (but not really that into folk punk) and hardcore mostly, but have a real soft spot for cheesy pop, hip hop and soul.
cunt, jane, real live nude girl, redefining our relationships, on the lower frequencies, in the realm of hungry ghosts, when the body says no, and the band played on, anything by eduardo galeano, burning fight, people of the pines, animal liberation, up against the wall motherf*****...
basically - books on feminism, reproductive health, sex positivity, punk/hardcore narratives/history, anarchist/political narratives/history, animal rights, and social struggle.
i love loose leaf herbal tea, and almost any other type of tea.
i do not love fruity herbals or plain green tea.
i'm vegan, so nothing is with meat or dairy products in it please (i'm okay with honey).
with recipes, i love the challenge of 'veganizing' - so send away!

Hi kryspayne,
Thank you for being a member of Cruelty Free Shopping, I left the group in the hands of someone who 'I think' tried to keep it active but as it seems, the group is dead.
I'm hoping to revive it with some low cost and free swapping and would love for you to become an officer and help me out? If you can't, please check the group as often as you come online and paticipate.
Thank You!

Hello, I just wanted to say that you sound awesome! My friends call things that are otherwise vegan but contain honey 'double vegan' because everyone knows that all real vegans eat honey, hehehe. I'm vegan but eat honey too :)
