About Me

I live in tropical Eastern Australia, the most beautiful place in the world! I love animals, especially cats and lizards, and am working my way towards a career at the Australian Reptile Park just outside of Sydney. My life revolves around my pets, which includes 2 cats, 2 dogs, a blue tongue skink, a water dragon, and a bearded dragon. I also foster kittens and cats for a local animal shelter. Favorite Crafts

I enjoy sewing, but am not very good with my machine, so usually sew everything by hand with lots of help from the kittens (which is the complete opposite of help really, but don't tell them that). I can't knit or crochet, and would love anything made with these techniques! I also love playing around with polymer clay.

I love...

Some of my favourite things include fruit, cupcakes etc, owls, cats, lizards, charms, broaches, Rachelle Hale photography, shells, Hello Kitty, Garfield, Emily the Strange and the colour green.

Wishlist

Any of the above products, either handmade or store bought! Material, polymer clay, ribbon, buttons, or anything I can make something out of. I enjoy cooking cakes, cookies, puddings and muffins, so any cake making things (molds etc) or cakey objects would be great! Also, owning cats, anything made or bought for them would be a real bonus.

Favorite Books

I'm not all that into tv or movies, but I do love to read! The Harry Potter series was great, and the Cloe-Mae Coronicles was Awesome. I love looking through photographic books (Steve Parish etc) and any true animal story books I can get my hands on. But my absolute favourite book is my Bible!

Comment: Your pack did arrive I gave you a 5 for communicating, but am very disappointed that the first pack didn,t arrive and it took so long to receive any thing.

I'm so sad that one very beautiful item from it has now been lost (or stolen) within Australia Post. How on earth did you fit those long pieces of ribbon in along with everything else! The Xmas ribbon with lollies is really cute, luv it! Thanks for the advice on the Apple Butter & extras, the tree wall hanging pattern and tag which will come in very handy! Also thanks for your note on the cute cat stationary... looks like we are into a few of the same things so hopefully will get in a swap ur in and be able to send you something sometime in fututre. Response: It took me awhile to get his feet correct, but other than that, I loved putting him and his things together. Celeste and Nelson really do look the same. You said he had been adopted from a stray, and Celeste was too, through CAA. Funny huh? Amanda

Comment: amanda i thought really hard about how to rate you for this swap. the first send was not kawaii (what the swap required) so you offered a resend. the resend included some kawaii, but those cow and other animal stickers are still not kawaii. neither send was in a kawaii envelope, as also required, and the kawaii in the resend was not enough to fill the envelope. but i appreciate the effort you made to fulfill the swap requirements. if you're having trouble finding kawaii, our group has a couple of really great threads about different brands and where to buy them in australia and online. maybe you could also offer to private swap with people and send something you can access readily in exchange for kawaii (like tim tams or aussie lollies or something). i hope you don't take this rating as mean, but i tried to make it both fair and honest. anna ^_^
Response: thankyou Anna for being honest with me. I didn't realize that the envelope was supposed to be kawaii until just now, when I checked the swap requirements again, so I apologise for that... The cow stickers I included are not Japanese kawaii but Chinese kawaii, and the envelpe was only supposed to be worth 50c to send, which means it could be no more than a cards worth of things (no more than 10 grams) so I couldn't have been able to fill the envelope anyway. Thankyou for the info on how to find more kawaii merchandise, I appreciate that! Amanda.

Hi, yeah I'm pretty sure he's a russian blue, not exactly 100% certain as he was a stray! But he's part of the family now and we love him to bits :)
