Am mum to Reece (aged twenty two months) and a part time Secondary School Teacher. Am a scrapbooker and have recently branched out into ATC making, circle and art journals and alterable bits and pieces. Love being creative and experimenting with different techniques.

Likes I specialised in English Literature and Art History for my degree. I love Art and sculpture. My favourite place to visit is Broomhill Sculpture Gardens and I love to visit the galleries and exhibitions in London. I love colour and particularly love the following: art nouveau, art deco, arts and crafts movement, japanese wood prints, chinese prints,oriental fabrics, public sculpture, 20's and 30's childrens' book illustrations, graphic design prints, retro advertising, vintage images, 20's clothing... My kitchen wall is a mass of art and design postcards! I love kitsch objects and images and must admit I'm a bit of a magpie when it comes to things that shine and sparkle!

Craft-wise I scrapbook and take part in various challenges and circle journals on a UK based website. I love mixed-media and altering books and journals.

I love reading-all kinds of books (although not chick-lit-it has to be well written!) and my favourites at the moment are historical fiction and books set in Japan or China. Music is a big part of my life and my tastes are wide ranging and eclectic. I love 'great' songs whatever genre they're from.

I try and live as healthily as possible. I practise yoga and meditation techniques and am interested in aromatherapy and reflexology.
