I've always loved crafting and am especially into polymer clay crafts, scrapbooking, and painting. I can usually craft just about anything that I put my mind to. I am also a member of Postcrossing, so I collect postcards from all over the world and love sending postcards from my state to people around the world.

I was born in Germany to German parents and moved to the US when I was 8. In mid-January, I passed my US citizenship test. On April 14, I took my Oath of Allegiance and am now a United States citizen. Yay!

I'm 29 and married with no children - unless you count my pets. I have a parakeet named Meko, a rat named Socks, a dwarf hamster named Colonel Spazminster McWhiskers (or, Little Dude for short), and some fish.

My musical tastes vary widely. I might listen to country music one day and be obsessed with Finnish Metal bands the next day. My favorite bands are Lady Antebellum, Within Temptation and Nightwish. I'm also a huge fan of 80s dance music. My current favorite country singer is Carrie Underwood. I'm familiar with a little punk music, but I don't listen to it much. The only sort of music that I don't listen to is rap. I just don't care for it.

The Harry Potter series, A Series of Unfortunate Events, Dhalgren, The Awakening, The Book of the New Sun, Pride and Prejudice, Sense and Sensibility and Sea Monsters, Memoirs of a Geisha. I love books and reading. It's hard to just choose one book as my favorite.

It is very rare that I meet a book that I don't like - Catcher in the Rye is the only one that comes to mind, actually.

The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Rent, Letters to Juliet, Pirates of the Caribbean (the first one). I also love horror movies, but I'm a total chicken and I watch them with my hands over my eyes.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer (love, love, love, love, loooove), Supernatural, Pretty Little Liars, true crime television (it's my guilty pleasure), Project Runway, NCIS, Law and Order (SVU, the original and Criminal Intent).

Polymer clay, scrapbooking, home-made beauty products, knitting, crochet, cross stitch, embroidery sewing, ATCs, dotee dolls, and decorated matchboxes.

Likes: Just about anything...I'm not picky at all.
-My favorite colors are purple and pink. -I love animals. Red Panda is my current favorite. :) -I really enjoy fantasy themes (faeries!!, unicorns, castles, mermaids, magic, etc).
-I also love ghosts - stories, pictures, etc.
-I am a huge fan of Halloween and Christmas because I love to decorate my place. -I'm also a fan of role-playing (the game kind, not the dirty kind).
-I love hand-made things in general.
-I also really enjoy getting postcards and have started a collection. I like postcards to be written on by the sender.
-I also like to learn about other cultures and their traditions, so feel free to include a little note with your favorite tradition/interesting tidbit about your culture in your swap.
-I love journals, especially hand made ones. -I am starting to collect Dotee Dolls and ATCs which should be a lot of fun. -I love socks. Socks are to me what shoes are to many women. A girl can never have too many awesome socks. (Shoe size 8-8.5)

Dislikes: -The smell of cigarette/cigar smoke, incense, flowery perfumes, strong smells - I have a very sensitive sniffer.
-I like to look at fish, but I don't like to eat them or smell them. I especially dislike Lutefisk. Who willing eats jellied fish, anyway? Ick.
