03/12/10 - After receiving one disappointing swap after another I'm taking a break from Swap Bot, I've received too many parcels that don't meet the guidelines and are mashed to bits in the mail. I'll be completing my swaps and maybe coming back next year.

I'm a sci fi candy freak living in sunny Australia. I really enjoy getting parcels in the mail so I have something to look forward to rather than bills!

I will try any type of candy once, except sultana or raisin filled candies/chocolates - why would I want fruit with my sugary goodness? Plus they're gross. I also don't eat anything with phenylalanine as I have an intolerance and choose not to suffer for my candy.

I love my sci fi and frequent as many conventions as I can, I'm yet to debut internationally but Australia is getting more and more decent cons developing which is such a plus.

Anything sci fi, if it has 'star' in the title you can bet I've probably seen it.

As I currently study at uni books feature prominently, but I also have a natural love of reading. Favourites in fiction include, period, fantasy, sci fi and magical realism.

*Candy - though no fake sugar! Chocolate, chewy, gummi, pretty much all kinds. I adore Hi-Chew which is annoyingly hard to get in Australia.

*Cats - I have two a Devon Rex and a Ragdoll, I know two extremes!

*Cows - I adore and collect anything to do with black and white cows, cartoonish or real. Pictures, stuffed toys, clothes...everything!

*Costumes - I sew my own costumes and I'm always hunting for bits and pieces to add to them.

*Baking - I'm a baker through and through, I like new recipes and ideas all the time

*Fairytales

*Cookie Cutters - I have quite a collection

There's heaps more, but I don't have all day :)

*Sultanas - Horrible little squishy things! Disgusting!

*Spiders - They creep me out, too many legs

*Snakes - See above, not enough legs.

*Reality TV - It bores me

Thats about it, I like a lot of things :)

Flavour: Chocolate and raspberry

Season: Winter

Food: Either potatoes or candy, can't decide which.

Weather: Rainy, I'd like to say snow but I've never seen snow.

I'm currently in the process of setting up a candy website, I like to consider myself a bit of a candy conissuer and as such I have a list of candies (split into countries) that I want to try, if I'm in a candy swap and you can even put one very small thing off this list into my parcel you'll be helping to fulfill a dream! Naturally you don't have to have to, and don't go out of your way, I don't descriminate against candy :)

And I don't reply don't fret. Swap-Bot has for some reason stopped sending me notifications about everything. No emails letting me know I have a message, or that a swap is due to be sent or a comment on my profile. Nothing!

I've contacted site admin and I'm trying to make sure I login every couple of days to keep up with the swaps I'm in and any messages.

And trying to control the urge to sign up for more....!
