I love art, nature, taking long walks, photography, enjoying tiny details or funny observations about life, social sciences and knowledge about the world. Currently I live in a city in the southwest of Germany, where I am working and studying. I enjoy to spend my free time gardening, listening to podcasts, writing, reading, drawing, spending time laughing with my friends and partner, vieweing the world from my bike, treasure hunting antiques or books, meeting cats I can pet and leafs I can collect on my walks outside. I love to go to museums and art exhibitions (well ok, the pandemic complicated this), to political events or lectures, readings and theatre.

I aspire to live a life full of creativity, solidarity, true connection, thoughtfulness, sensitivity with an intellectual touch, being a maker instead of only admiring others who do so (still working on that), helping people, having fun and making people laugh, giving hope, inspiring people to create. I am very idealistic and hoping for a future where everyone is valued and can live to their fullest potential, without exploitation, ignorance, discrimination and suppression. ✊

I enjoy working with paper and paper leftovers/remains. All kinds of pens. Black ink on white paper - I love minimalist line drawings! Illustrations, sometimes collage. I improvise and don't have a certain strategy yet.

I take photos every day, even though I wouldn't qualify them as professionel photography. And I love pixels, bad quality photos have something artsy to them I have yet to find words to explain their charm.

Here in Germany we have "Bücherschränke" (free libraries in public bookcases), where people can bring their used books and magazines. I love going there - you get to see so many weird books you otherwise wouldn't ever get to see!

› depictions of cats, tigers, lions and all other big cats (illustrations, paintings, ink drawings, vintage photography, black and white photos)

› retro photography, black and white or colored, years 1950-2010 (e.g. old MERIAN magazines, books about animals and nature)

› tiny handwritten notes, that have been written only in informational purpose - be it shopping lists, reminders, greetings, thoughts, jokes

› special papers (texture/structure-wise), patterned paper

› I like the art of wholesome childhood stories, e.g. Moomins (Tove Jansson), Pettson and Findus (Sven Nordqvist), Der kleine Maulwurf / Mole (Zdeněk Miler) - especially the backgrounds and their green-blueish nature depictions! :)

› DADA, chaos, fun, weird or obscure stuff - so send me the weirdest card you've got and want to get rid of ;)

› botanical gardens, asian gardens

› japanese woodblock prints / ukiyo-e › especially landscapes

› line art, ink drawings, black brush strokes or pencil illustrations (of daily life, sourroundings, architecture, nude drawings)

› minimal graphic design, minimal art, abstract art

› Kandinsky; Bauhaus; Russian avant garde; Russian propaganda illustrations

› black and white pictures / art / photography

› old book covers (with imprint on linen cover)

› old handicraft magazines and books, especially the instruction manual illustrations, step-by-step photographs of the process

› informative illustrations in instruction manuals, visualizations in books about math, natual sciences, medicine etc, vintage school or university books

› patterned/illustrated paper napkins of ice cream shops

› primary colors (red, blue + yellow) + black, shades of red, black and white, all hues of blue, pastel lilac, pastel turquoise

› contrast: black & white with 1 color, or neon textmarker with black

› sassy, bold, defiant, somehow resistant stuff

› you could send me some patterned/printed paper (wrapping paper, food cardboard box parts, a book cover, a page of a coloring book etc.) and paste my adress on the back :)

× dreamy depictions of women as fragile or suffereing beings

× cards with "funny jokes/sayings"

× motorized vehicels

× sexist advertisement

× babies and children

× religion

× fantasy (dragons, witches etc.)

× anime and manga (there are exceptions, but this would take too long)

× death references (skulls, zombies, war depictions)

German mail seems to take a while these days. Especially to the US, letters and cards can take up to 21 days. Maybe you have to wait a bit long for your letter to arrive. I'm really sorry.
