My name is Peggy but my friends call me Pea. I am a textile artist, a disaster and a girl. I live in a big red house with my boyfriend and a giant cat named Bea Arthur in a tiny city, on a tiny island in Canada. The city has it's good points but I miss the ocean and the rocks and trees of the small town I grew up in.

All i want in life is to have a garden and an ocean to stare off into.

I love birds and trees and all things green. I still make mixed tapes and jump in puddles after it rains. I am thirty years old but am still very in touch with my childhood. I hope I never lose that.

I work as a Sexual Health Advocate part time and the rest of the time I try to cram in as much art making as I can. I like natural and chemical dyes, screen printing and painting girls with double chins, braces and hair that never behaves.

I am quite terrible at filling out profiles and hope that this isn;t completely lame :)

anything hand made. i live for hand made items...tiny paintings, knitted goods, collages, anything woven, little sculptures,photographs, mixed cd's/tapes, scarves. and craft related supplies like pens, papers, pencils, markers, wool, fabric(especially hand dyed)

i love natural colours...greens, browns, rusty reds and vibrant oranges.

i love vintage anything. handkerchiefs, old magazines, buttons, pins, photographs.

i love candy and all things chocolate. and smelly things...soaps and lotions. never in a floral scent though. i love coconut, chocolate, vanilla and warm smells.
