I\'m not into cute anything, or should I say sentimental. I like to journal and collage. I love old papers, found items, cut outs, but I am not a scrapbooker and am not keen on scrapbook papers. LOVE the thrill of the hunt for goodies, via e bay, thrift stores, swapping, etc. Big packrat as I never know what I may need for my art. Have two great cats, an indulgent, devoted husband, love to travel and do, often! Crazy about the colors turquoise, aqua, purples, lavenders, greens, browns. Always on the lookout for scrap anything, metal, broken jewelery, buttons, etc. .All kinds of close up photos that take on an abstract feeling. Buildings, peeling paint, doorways, also closeups of people. Love Mail Art, postcards, letters, but not ATC's.

I'm not interested in any food items, teas, bath or make up products, or anything with a scent (allergies). Other than that I am easy to please.

My favorite stuff to receive is paper; interesting stuff, doesn't have to be an image. Could be part of one...humm. Could be painted, stamped (your own design), or birds, owls, drawings, black & white, scraps of failed artwork.. Maps or bits of them. Words & more words. They do not need to be neatly trimmed. Interesting book pages, not childish, maps, all kinds of maps, handwritten papers, old letters, stamps......oh I could go on. Just as I said, am easy to please.

Pulp Fiction, Crash, It\'s a Wonderful Life (OK a little sentiment is OK now and then.) Kill Bill. One of my cats is named Uma T., if that tells you anything. Love all of her movies. Also, never met an Almodovar flick that I didn\'t like.

HBO series (except Deadwood) hated that, Lost, Survivor, and the news. The Mentalist, NCIS, 30 Rock, Curb Your Enthusium, True Blood, Big Love, MadMen. Damages & The Closer. Project Runway.

First love is Plein Air painting; followed by Mixed Media. Mostly paper craft & mixed media when I can\'t paint outdoors. Soft Pastels, paper, you name it. You might say I have too many interests, because I see potential everywhere. Love texture and all textiles, but again nothing cutesy or sentimental, as a rule.
