I'm a knitting (and now crocheting and sewing) obsessive from Manchester, UK who is currently in the process of setting up her own hand-dyed yarn store on Etsy.

By trade, I am a freelance journalist but I have taken a break from my regular career due to health reasons, so I hope to do the Etsy store thing in the meantime!

I'm married to an angel (!) and have a beautiful one-year-old daughter and three very crazy cats.

When not knitting or doing other crafts I love to learn new languages (Italian, Spanish, Russian and Chinese),run marathons and drink red wine!

I love anything to do with cats my favourite colours are pink, pink and pink.

I also love handmade things or retro/vintage kitchy stuff.

I love gossip mags about celebrities! But I also love political mags and craft magazines in particular those about knitting, sewing, crochet, applique and cross stitch.

I love chocolate - especially dark chocolate!

I also love candies (apart from liquorice), biscuits, anything sweet!

When not consuming vast amounts of red wine (!) I love to drink tea and hot chocolate. I love all teas (red, black and green) apart from herbal and fruit teas.
