I love rock, punk (esp. psychobilly and old school punk), metal, alternative, industrial, jazz, blues, native american music, and rockabilly. I like some country (mostly old school country and alt. country). I really don't care for contemporary country, unless it is alternative country. I really don't care for most pop music or pop country. I love a lot of the old rap music from when I was a kid in the '80's, but I really don't care for rap past about 1991 or so. I also don't really care for most r&b/soul past the late 1980's. I'm really not interested in Christian music or reggae.

I love documentaries, independent films, and horror films (esp. zombie films). My favorite directors are M. Night Shymalan, John Sayles, John Waters, Woody Allen, Ron Howard, and George A. Romero.

I mostly read true crime, biographies, and stuff related to law and psychology, but I am open to other stuff. My most favorite novel is "To Kill a Mockingbird," and I am a big fan of Poppy Z. Brite.

Everything I owe is at least in the mail at this point.

I received a lovely card from Chile from someone called Pia, and I think it is a Swap-Bot card. The card shows San Pedro de Atacama, but I am not sure what what swap it is for, and I'd like to give Pia the good rating deserved as soon as can be.
