Hello...I am a married 42yr old who sometimes feels 50 but likes to act and dress like I'm 30. I have two boys ages 23 and 15. I have 3 dogs, 2 cats and a bunch of fish. As long as my family of human and pets are fine...so am I. I have two friends who have been raving about this site and I decided that I would join. I am not as talented as either of them but I am a perfectionist and will always do my best. I am fascinated with some of the swaps and can't wait to join a swap/send/receive. It will be important for me to have the receiver love what they get from me. I will get some pictures and more info ASAP on my profile.

I don't have a particular favoritie music. It is dependent upon my mood. It can change from 80's to classical to jazz to blues to hard rock etc etc. Satellite radio is the best! Whatever I am feeling I can set the radio to it. Two dislikes would be heavy rap or screaming headbanging music (don't know the actual name for it but you can't hear the words and it sounds painful for them).

I love creepy books (Stephen King, Patricia Cornwell), Murder mysteries and vampire/werewolf/Alien series (Twilight, True Blood). I also like some romance stuff (The Other Boleyn Girl or even better... romance vampire stuff - Black Dagger Brotherhood). Not books but...since I started stamping cards I have a few craft magazines and I love cooking magazines.

I love movies in general. We could always do a movie swap because my husband buys every movie. If I lose my job I will open a movie rental business. Drama, action, drama+action+love story, fantasy and more fantasy. Lord of the rings! Star Wars. Steel Magnolias, Home Alone can't think of anymore right now...

I love card making and am open to learn new crafts. I attend a crafternoon with a few friends and there are different crafts we do each month (pin cusions, felt stuffed items, bottle caps, bird houses and embroidery). Each month it opens up new ideas.

I must have been a bird in a previous life because I love shiny things. Glitter, sparkles, gems. I also love the vintage Christmas cards and old fashioned look to some things in crafts. Animal prints definitely.

Skeletons! And more skeletons (even the folk ones with smiles). Halloween is probably my favorite "holiday".
