I started swapping here in 2012. After some big life changes I got focused on other things, but I just started again in the fall of 2016, four years later!

Anyway!

My name is Sarah, and I was born in Iowa, USA.

But, although I come from a small town, I love foreign languages and cultures.

I'm 28 and single. I move a lot for my job, so unfortunately I've had to leave a lot of loved ones behind.

I've always liked letters and stationery, and I try to write letters often. However, my friends would rather email or message me back, so swap bot allows me to get mail from all over! :D

My favorite hobbies are cooking, traveling and reading. I also like listening to music or podcasts.

I love to read! Sometimes watching tv can stress me out so reading is better because it is more relaxing.

I used to listen to a lot of indie rock but now I listen more to podcasts and talk radio.

I also have become more of a fan of ambient music (like hearts of space for example) and I like to have it on when I'm studying.

My favorite movie of all time is Educating Rita.

I remember watching it on TV with my mom and for me it's just one of those movies I can watch over and over and never tire of it. I think most people haven't heard of it but it has such an interesting story. I love it.

I love nature, and one day I would love to hike the Appalachian trail or the PCT.

I also really enjoy art - I love traveling to new cities and visiting the art museums. I especially love 'Hope' by Watts, which I saw once in the Tate Art Museum in London. I would love to go back and see it again. It blew me away. You can see it here.
