(Update 1/6/2013) I love playing with paint, stencils, and paper in any fashion. I enjoy collage and mixed media work. I also LOVE making postcards. They are so much fun to create and then release into the wild. I've started working more with fabric and embroidery, so I've been building up a fabric stash (even though I swore I never would because my mom has one!).

(Updated 3/4/2013) I successfully completed my personal project of 365 Days of Creativity. Woo-hoo! It's been fun to make something every day but sometimes it's a relief to have to make a particular something. That's part of why I got involved swap-bot.

I love to see what others are doing. Everyone has their own take on a project, and it's fun to see how differently each person translates a theme. My studio in my house is full of all kinds of different things - fabric, paper, magazines, paints - and a couple of cats who like to supervise. I don't really collect anything - I'm an equal-opportunity hoarder.

Please let me know if you've sent something but haven't received a rating. I try to rate the same day, unless I am out of town. Also, please don't hesitate to message me if you haven't received something I've marked as sent.

Since part of the fun is seeing what everyone else is doing and being impressed with their particular style, I'm pretty wide open regarding what I'd like to receive. However, I do have a few big dislikes. Please don't send me:

• Big-eyed girls

• Fairies

• Overly religious items (for example, I like religious icons but not Bible verses)

• Anything scented (I'm very sensitive to smells)

• Advertising postcards, unless the swap specifically calls for them

I especially love bright colors and upbeat images. Nature images are great but so are abstracts and almost anything else.
