About Me

Sewing (everything but clothes) is my first crafty love, but I'm also pretty crazy for paper crafts. I like making all kinds of mail art, ATCs, and zines, etc. I love layered mixed media art and I'm having a blast playing around with different techniques.

Style-wise: I really like a mix of modern and rustic. I love modern fabrics. I also love wood, metal and clay art/sculptures. Steampunk is pretty neat, I love the old metal and leather combo.

Awkward/Profane humor is always fun. I love laughing, reading, watching funny shows/movies, and crafting.

Response: Wow, you just made me all giddy on a day that I totally needed it (I'm working my way through a nasty nasty cold, boooo). I LOVE making those cards, it's like 4 mini arts in one. Definitely make one, it's a lot less scary then I thought it would be. I've decided to use all the paint/gelli papers that I'm not crazy about and turn them into art cards...something about folding them up makes the backgrounds look totally different and cool. So thrilled that you love it!
