I am a high school teacher in Massachusetts, and I teach English literature. I love books, but lately I have been getting crafty as I am planning a wedding with a lot of DIY pieces. I can't wait to start swapping!

Books I love the classics by Thomas Hardy, Shakespeare, John Steinbeck, some Dickens. My favorite books for pleasure reading are Secret History of the Pink Carnation, Virgin Suicides, Time Traveler's Wife, Weight of Silence, Gone with the Wind, Scarlett,
Harry Potter, Gone with the Wind, Scarlett, Lena Rivers, Cat's Cradle, The Pact, The Tess of the d'Urbervilles, Love Medicine, Fahrenheit 451, Animal Farm, Angels and Demons. Many more - I love books - old books, new books, pretty books etc.

Movies I love chick flicks: 13 going on 30, Just Friends, While You Were Sleeping, The Proposal, Leap Year, The Wedding Date, so many more I can't think of. Others: Blood Diamond, Ocean's Eleven, Pirates of the Caribbean, etc.

Television Gilmore Girls, The Office, Friends, Entourage, Glee

I love getting postcards from places all over the world and I love to send them too. I am heading out on a national park road trip and will stock up on some great American Landscape postcards. I hope I find some great swaps to send them out on! I am also into origami paper and (trying) to fold that. I have been scrapbooking my whole wedding process and trying to be as creative and crafty as possible.

Likes Stickers, stamps & postcards. I love texturized paper and paper with all different designs on it. I am pretty girly and love pinks, purples, blues. Our wedding colors are blue and yellow so that is a good combo for me right now too. My FI is big into camping so we have been doing a lot of outdoorsy things lately and I love trees, the ocean, and flowers. My favorite flowers are daisies. I also love orchids too.

I enjoy getting all different kinds of cards that have not been used but I do love old, antiquey feeling things. I am a huge English nerd so anything with letters or that plays on words is fun too.

Food. I love chocolate & sugary sweet things. I dislike taffy and yellow or orange candies. I prefer reds, purples, greens and blues. I am kind of a chocoholic. I dislike tea but like coffee and hot chocolate. A lot. I love different flavors of hot chocolate - especially white chocolate.

My favorite animal is the penguin. So freaking adorable. But I also like otters, monkeys and kahula bears and platypuses. I also have a mini-hamster but hope to get a dog sometime. My West Highland white terrier passed away. He was my baby growing up.

I don't like monsters, creepy things, guns, violence etc. I also don't like greys, blacks and browns. I do like a good black and white photo or postcard though. Thank you!
