If you are in a swap with me, please read this: my house was just foreclosed on because my landlord did not pay the mortgage (even though we paid rent), and it may be a few days before I can send my items out because I don't even know where any of my personal property is at the moment. I am going to try to message my partners, but if I forget you, please let me know. I am NOT the type who won't send my items out; this situation has just been taken out of my hands. I absolutely promise that I will send out the items, but it might take a few days. Please message me if you have any questions.
I'm a 26 year old college student studying medicine. I hang out in graveyards when I write poetry (hey, Lord Byron was rumored to have done the same), I enjoy discussing quantum physics, and I like to see the shocked looks from people who are trying to figure me out.
If you are supposed to receive something from me and it has not arrived yet, please let me know. I have a notebook full of the dates for when I send my things out, and I want to avoid bad ratings for items lost in the mail. If something is lost, I will be happy to send another.
I enjoy classical music as well as rock and metal. I suppose you could say that I have very eclectic tastes as far as music is concerned. I am a hardcore Beethoven fan, and my favorite composition is "Moonlight Sonata." Whenever I write poetry, I tend to listen to that piece. However, I still "look" like a metalhead, as I typically wear mostly black. Of course, so much of our current music is based on older classical music that it's no wonder why so many of us enjoy both genres.
Anything by Poe, Hawthorne, Gatsby, Nabokov, Faulkner, etc. One of my favorite time periods is the Victorian era, and I also especially enjoy reading books that fit into the Romantic style. "The Scarlet Letter," "The Awakening," and other similar titles fill my bookshelves. I also relate quite a bit of Sylvia Plath and her troubled soul. I think that I'd be here all day if I had to list all of my favorite books, but I hope that this small list will suffice. Every time I read a new book, I'm able to travel through time.
"The Crow," "Dracula," "Ever After," "The Time-Traveler's Wife," etc. Basically, anything romantic and/or hinting a touch of sadness. Some comedies are thrown into the mix every now and then.
Comedies from the 80's, true crime, mysteries, horror.
I am just getting started in the craft world, and I am trying to learn how to make homemade postcards and bookmarks.

Hi Stephanie! Welcome to Swap-Bot! So glad you're here! You are sooo going to LOVE it here! There are so many fun swaps, and this is such an amazing community of fun, talented, and creative people!
Welcome also to the 'I ♥heart♥ Mail Art - May' swap --- thank you for joining my swap! If you have any questions, please feel free to holler! Hope to 'meet you in the mail' often! :)
p.s. it is always a good idea to fill out your profile with as much information & detail as possible. All your likes, favourite colours, crafts, hobbies, wishlists, etc. The more specific info you have, the happier your mailbox will be! It makes it much easier for your swap partner to create/choose items that you suit you perfectly if you have a well filled-out profile. You will notice on most of the swaps that one of the main requirements is to have a well-filled out profile --- that is the case with this swap as well.
The more detail in your profile, the better the swaps will be for you and your partner!
Happy Swapping! :)
