Nicola here, medic by day (and all too frequently by night and weekends) and glitter-obsessed book-lover by... well, day, night and weekends as well.

I love reading, crafts and games/gaming. I am often to be found dancing in the kitchen or spinning poi (often without the poi which earns me strange looks) or playing the piano (often without the piano). I collect stamps and elephants (mini ones - I only have a little room) - if anyone's ever seen the movie 'Secret Garden', that's where I got the idea from.

My favourite colour is blue; I'm probably not allergic to pink and orange but why risk it? I like most things sparkly (vampires not included although it does make them an easier target) and will probably be best remembered for discovering the cancer-causing or cancer-curing properties of glitter, I'm still crunching the numbers.

Currently working as a junior doctor in Wales so don't be surprised by the occasional bout of bleak black medical humour :)

Introduced to this by a friend and thought it was too much fun to pass up (plus I could get more stamps - very shiny) so here I am and hello!

I actually really love seeing other people's work from their own inspirations so anything created/adapted/something that inspires you is always a win. That said, domesticated/pet dogs, the 'carry on and...' campaign and rainbows with the colours out of order (don't ask) aren't likely to win any shiny stars from me any time soon.
