Update: I am taking a break from Swapbot for a few months while we are building our house and for summer. I will join back in swapping in a month or so time when the busyness subsides! I will still check my mail regularly :)

My name is Brigitte.

I am a 31 year old early childhood teacher from New Zealand. I teach a class of busy 2 year olds in a preschool.

I live near the beach with my boyfriend, his 4 year old Son and our two cats.

I love the outdoors and beautiful things.

I enjoy going for walks in the mountains, on the beaches and beside the rivers near where I live.

I also like cooking and whipping up healthy treats. Carrot cake is my favourite cake (but I am not really a cake baker!)

I love sending and receiving snail mail and packages. I find a lot of joy in creating swap bot packages and work really hard to create something special and personalised for you! I will always try to send items to your taste!

My partner and I are nearly finished building our house and it has been a very busy few months!

I am very relaxed and would be over the moon with anything I receive! (especially anything hand made by YOU!).

I will always appreciate hand written letters or notes or even a list you've written with your swaps! I love to hear all about my swap partners or why you chose/sent the items you included etc. (who wouldn't love to receive a letter over a 'here's the swap' note!).

Turquoise/teal is my all time favorite color followed by any sea colours - blues, greens and anything in between.

My other favourite colours are yellow, grey and pink.

I ensure that I always send my swaps out on time, please contact me if there is any problem with a trade. Postage from New Zealand can take a little longer to arrive.

Please note that in New Zealand we are 17 hours ahead of swap bot time so sometimes when I post my items on the deadline date they are post marked a day later because we are a day ahead. Please realise this is still within the swap bot deadline! :-)
