****PLEASE BEAR WITH ME WHILE I TRY TO GET CAUGHT UP ON SOME OF MY SWAPS FOR THE MONTH OF DECEMBER. MY ENTIRE HOUSEHOLD HAS BEEN PASSING THE FLU BACK AND FORTH FOR THE ENTIRE MONTH. I PROMISE TO SEND OUT EVERY SWAP ITEM IN THE NEXT COUPLE OF WEEKS! THANK YOU FOR YOUR PATIENCE.*******

I am a widowed single mom of three grown children and I have one granddaughter. My granddaughter is the apple of my eye. I love to read, do crafts (especially knitting), and spending time with my family. I love to curl up with a good book and a good cup of coffee. I love to try different flavored coffees. I am trying my hand at scrapbooking...I have always wanted to and decided now is the time to try it out!

My favorite colors are purple, pink, burnt orange, and burgandy.

Favorite Music

I love country. However, I will also listen to almost anything other than rap.

Favorite Books

I like murder mysteries. I love to read James Patterson, David Baldacci, Nicholas Sparks and Danielle Steele.

Favorite Movies

My favorite movie is the Notebook.

Favorite Television

I am hooked on Dexter and House.

Favorite Crafts

I am addicted to knitting. I also like to quilt and misc other crafts. I can always use more yarn and I like paper products to use with crafts such as stickers, note cards, pretty paper. I also love to use bamboo knitting needles. Actually, anything to do with knitting will be welcomed.

Drinks

I love to drink different flavored coffees. I have a grinder and love to grind my own coffee in the morning. I also love different flavored teas, sugar free hot chocolate and hot apple cider.

Things I would love to receive

  1. pretty paper for scrapbooking/card making
  2. card stock
  3. stamps
  4. candles scented like vanilla, and chocolate
  5. felting yarn
  6. homemade paper
  7. paper punches in different shapes.

Comment: Thank you (very belatedly, apologies) for the 20 ATCs you sent in January for the ATC Challenge. It was a tough one wasn't it! My favourites are the bee and "love letters", but my cats are smug about being made into art too :)

Comment: despite being understanding about health issues, and repeated assurances that the package was going to be sent, i never received anything. I've tried contacting Suzanne via swapbot prior to submitting this rating - i hate to rate ANYONE poorly if there is a chance of avoiding it - but have received no response.

Hi Suzanne,

I really do hope that you and your family are OK. When we spoke by Pm a while ago, you were behind but still trying to catch up, and assured me you didn't plan to give up. Although I hope that is the case, I am currently sad to see that that effort appears to have stopped, and will be attempting to find an angel for your other partner in the Hidden Hearts ATC swap I hosted.

If you are really intending to catch up, please let people know somewhere, somehow, otherwise there will be a lot of disappointed people and another huge pile of swaps to be angeled by good hearted people.

As you will have received all the swaps you've not yet sent, don't you think you should at least forward on what you receive to the people you should be sending to? It's an ugly word, but at the moment your profile reads like a catalogue of swap-thefts :(

Your rating will stay a one unless you, too, send at some point. But for now I am going to angel because I cannot expect someone to wait longer than a MONTH to receive from a swap. I have messaged you and you have not responded--I'm sorry if you were ill, but the Angel Cats swap was to have been sent by 2/10--so you should be well enought to have at least made some attemp to contact people and answer messages. I FIND THIS ESPECIALLY OFFENSEIVE AS THIS SWAP WAS FOR PEOPLE WHO FELT BAD ABOUT THEIR CATS DIEING AND THE ANGEL CATS CARDS WAS TO MAKE THEM FEEL BETTER! NOW I WILL HAVE TO ANGEL 3 CARDS EACH FOR 3 PEOPLE BECAUSE I AM THE HOSTESS AND I FEEL BADLY ABOUT THIS! I HOPE YOU CONSIDER OTHERS FEELINGS BEFORE YOU SIGN UP FOR SO MANY SWAPS THAT YOU CAN'T FULFILL THE COMMITMENTS TO! Needless to say I will ban you from any of my future swaps unless I see some serious attempt to right this to your partners!
