About Me

I live in the beautiful mountains of Colorado with my husband and 3 children (1, 5, and 9)

My children attend the Waldorf school which fits with our values and lifestyle.

I appreciate natural, handmade items over commercialized plastic things. I would take a beautiful twig over a plastic toy any day!

I am interested in photography, hiking, skiing, sewing, and all things craft!

I have recently begun a craft type blog to help channel some of my crafty energy! I think that participating in some crafty swaps will help to inspire me and to keep my creative juices flowing!

Things That I Like

I like all sorts of Waldorf Art and or Craft supplies....

Prints by Ruth Elsasser and Elsa Beskow. acorns, gems or crystals.

Anything seasonal and natural or sweet for our nature table is greatly appreciated!!

Small felt items, needlebooks, pincushions, hanging ornaments...gnomes, fairies, or owls, mushrooms No live items please:)

I love to sew and always looking for interesting trim, appliques, or fabric.

Handmade dolls in the Waldorf style...

Things That I Don't Like

no neon or synthetic fabrics.... religious items patriotic items plastic items makeup (other than natural lip balms) Please nothing with perfume or strong scents sports themed items disney items

Comment: I hate to do this for such a simple swap but I have contacted you and asked if you would please visit my blog and either comment or follow (as were the swap requirements) and I have only heard back from you once saying "I can not find your blog. It does not seem to be linked on your profile page. The other people in the swap had their blogs listed on their profile page. if you would like me to still participate in the blog swap with you please send me your link. I would love to check out you rblog! Carrie" I posted a link to my blog in the comments section of the swap on 3 February 2011 (as was required by the swap host) and I have had my blog linked on my profile since creating the blog in January 2011. I'm not sure why you cannot find it. Will gladly re-rate should you ever follow through with the swap. ^_^
Response: I asked you to send me a link to your blog because it was not working from your profile. It would have been much more in the spirit of Swap-Bot to take a moment to send me your link instead of taking the same time to leave a negative comment. Carrie
