I am a middle school teacher. I sing Alto and play trombone have a guitar and Ukulele. I enjoy most forms of music. The radio in my truck is tuned to KLOVE, a contemporary Christian music station. Musical theater is also a favorite.
As the saying goes, I'm from the country and I like it that way. I have grown up on our family farm and live there now. As a child, I participated in 4-H. Grandma said I could take any project as long as one was sewing. There is a far greater diversity in projects today. I am always happy to hear when my students are involved in 4-H, FFA or Scout have attend the same church for most of my life, St. John's U.C.C.
I attended Oho University where I graduated with a BS in Education. I actually substitute taught for over ten years before being hired at a Catholic High School. After about eight years there, I had taught preschool through seniors and all subjects except religion(as I said earlier, I am Protestant) and Spanish (I took French in high school and sign language in college). Next, I was hired to teach in a district about three hours fro the farm. I now teach in the building attached to the high school. This is where I have wanted for a long time.
