I am in my thirties and work as a journalist for a financial newspaper. I live in Helsinki with my boyfriend. I love summer and sunshine, animals (especially cats), books and bookstores, photographs, ice cream and chocolate and - most of all - travelling. Besides my native Finland, I have lived in the UK, Estonia and the US.

I'm particularly interested in postcard swaps. I've collected postcards since I was a little girl and have a big box full of them. In addition to cards related to the things I've mentioned above, my favourites include closeups of people from different countries, everyday life and street scenes, closeups of wild birds, animals and flowers, B&W photos, maps and flags, anything to do with journalism, cards that take a stand and anything pink - but I promise I'll appreciate whatever you choose for me!

My taste is rather eclectic - among others, I've particularly liked Moulin Rouge (I looooove Ewan McGregor), Four Weddings and a Funeral, Crying Game, Pulp Fiction and other Tarantino films, American Beauty, Mulholland Drive, Schindler's List, Y tu mama también, The Full Monty and Dead Poets Society

This Life, Cold Feet, Six Feet Under, Gilmore Girls, Eastenders, Emmerdale, Everwood, ER and many others (I watch the telly a bit too much...)
