I am a 55 year old woman who lives in the wilderness of Northern Ontario, Canada. My husband and I own a fishing lodge and I own a small gift and candle business. I have 3 Yorkies who are the most spoiled dogs in the world. Their names are Penny Lane, Sargent Pepper and Mr. Rigby. So now you know who my favourite group is. I adore anything that has to do with dogs, of course Yorkies are my favourite.

If you don't believe in love at first site, my husband and I are prime examples. We have been together for 27 years and met at work and I knew from the first time I looked in his eyes he was the one for me. We have two sons. Both are married and one lives in the states and the other is our next door neighbour.

My favourite place in the whole world is our cottage. It is on a lake in the wilderness and we are totally alone and totally self contained. I love to go there and connect with nature and my higher power. I find it very cleansing. I enjoy finding things in the woods that I convert to dreamcatchers, lamps, door hangings, etc. Watercolour painting the landscape is another great past time there. The outside of our cottage is painted with a treed scene.

I can not sit still and have to be doing something with my hands at all time. I love to sit and watch TV, surrounded by my puppies while knitting or stitching leather. I am very busy in the summer with the fishing lodge, although we have been winding down somewhat now that our son is involved in the business. My candle shop is only open for the 2 months before Christmas. It is a hobby more or less for me. I like to craft candles from soy wax or beeswax.

My favourite colours are blues and greens and pinks. I collect and use china tea cups and saucers. I love the china ones with little feet on the cup. I would like to make more friends.

RECEIVING AND SENDING MAIL FROM MY LOCATION IS VERY SLOW. I WOULD APPRECIATE PATIENCE FROM MY RECEIVING PARTNERS.

I love all music but especially the Beatles who I saw live in 1965. I am fond of the oldies, but will listen to anything except rap and hip hop. I have become very fond of Andre Bocceli. Sorry Esthero, Aunt Judy just doesn't like that rap stuff.

The Notebook, Titanic. I am not much of a movie person. Do not like violence and vulgar language.

Greys Anatomy, Desperate Housewives, House and watching poker.

Crotcheting, cooking, leather, watercolor painting, candle making, soap making. Actually the list is endless. I will try anything once.
