I'm a creative genius of a mommy with one son, 12 months old (and incredible) and a fab computer geek of a husband who is my best friend and forever beau.

I love:

old things, reading, babies, gardening, cooking, hammer dulcimers, beekeeping, wild mushrooms, the woods, Lake Michigan, poetry, midwives, theatre, travel, Louisa May Alcott, hot tea, Garrison Keillor, homemade things, photography, dogs with floppy ears, hyacinths, stories, early mornings, and many more....

I am fond of colors like leafy green, aqua the color of a robin's egg, coral, purples (rich and pale), cream, pinks of all kinds, midnight blue, crimson and pale butter yellow.

Stylistically, I am fond of The Victorians, Pre-Raphelites, The Amish, The French, Marilyn Monroe and Art Deco.

I'm extremely friendly and I hate to displease people. I'm a sucker for new friends, shiny things and darling little old odds and ends, girly stuff, indulgent things, and anything old fashioned.

I'm not into....

Cutesy things, kitch, electronic music, rose, lavender or patchouli scents.

My DH is a computer geek. He's 31. He is a bit of a perfectionist. He likes: films, chocolate, travel, Chaim Potak, brainy things, the electric bass (he plays), martial arts, red meat, Asia, desserts, sleeping, lemonade, massages, pancakes, reading, exercise, plants, restaurants (he's a food critic at heart), fatherhood, beautiful photography (particularly naturey stuff), Disney World, Florida, oceans, t.v. shows House and West Wing, New York City, business...

He wears a medium. He doesn't drink coffee. He has allergies so, scents are generally out.
