I'm a mother to 2 great babies. A son, Bailey Orion (2 1/2) and a daughter, Avalon Faelynn (9 months). We practice attachment parenting, I plan on home schooling (Waldorf), and we all love arts and crafts! I also love to write, although I don't have nearly as much time these days as I used to. When I'm not studying (I'm taking college courses online) I love to read practically anything. To wrap it up, I'm Pagan, I have many tattoos, my husband and I are building a cob home (it's sculpted from clay, sand, and straw, you can check out my myspace page to learn more), and I'm learning to play the mandolin.
Bailey LOVES when I receive packages, so if you want to make his day too, here are his likes: Elmo, Diego and Dora, Dragons and Dinosaurs, Caillou, Cats, Band-aids, Stickers, small books, Trains, Cars, candy (duh), etc. I will automatically give you hearts and shower you with my love if you put a smile on my little boy's face. Avalon is only 10 months old, so she just enjoys the walk down to the post office :).
In no particular order: Ben Harper, Rasputina, Tori Amos, Ani Defranco, Sneaker Pimps, White Stripes, Pink Floyd, Bluegrass, Queens of the Stoneage.....the list goes on.......
Tom Robbins is my favorite author. I also love Carlos Castenada. Aside from that, I read lots of nonfiction covering many many topics (from economics to physics to crafting). If I pick up a fiction book other than Tom and (arguably) Carlos, it's usually Stephen King.
Donnie Darko, Sea Prince and the Firechild (if you've seen this movie, you must contact me), Kevin Smith's movies, really, I like most movies. I haven't been able to watch many lately, you know, with the children and all.
Adult Swim, Discovery Channel (gotta love Mythbusters), Lost, House, Heroes, I really try to avoid the television but these are the programs I'm still weak for.
I cook, bake (I sell bread at the local farmer's market), knit , crochet, and sew. I'm learning to embroider and batik and this is the first summer in my life that I've been able to keep a small container garden healthy and happy (YEAH!). My favorite hobby is probably knitting, I definitely do that more than any of my other art related hobbies.
I'm exploring the world of amigurumi and toy making. I love art, especially controversial or non-mainstream subjects. I love anything that FEELS nice, and my stash of buttons, beads, ribbons, and other lovely notions is sadly lacking. I'm working on this obvious downfall.... Nature, fairies, elves, small things, useful things, tarot (I read for parties), colors (green, purple, and blue are the top 3), black, tea, COFFEE, peaches, chocolate, oriental culture, food, wine, and last but not least, beer.

I have been pming you but you have not been responding. You promised a child a package and you still have not sent. Please have a heart and send something or at least contact your partner and tell them that it will be late. I made it perfectly clear when I pm'd you at the beginning of this swap that you must not sign up if you can't fulfill your obligation. You said that you had not problem doing that so please don't let this child down. You are not dealing with an adult for a partner and I am sure that your child recieved something nice in their package.
I put together a very nice Mini Whimsy Jar for you but when your ratings started slipping, the swap host requested that I sent to the person you were supposed to send to. It's too bad things turned out this way, it looks like you started out being a great swapper!
I'm glad you liked the address labels I sent you. If you'd like, PM me your email address and I'll send you the template in MS Word so you can use it again in the future.
Hi I'm glad to hear your Halloween Matchbox arrived safely even if it did immediately get claimed by your son. Hope you took all the small bits out. I was worried about sending the small items when I read you had wee ones. Enjoy~Kaye
