I will be hosting both an A to Z city, state, country swap plus a separate swap for A to Z with objects. I like my cards to be written on and stamped, it makes them more meaningful to me. So for this swap all cards will not be sent in envelopes. Feel free to start a swap that has blank, cards like this in envelopes. I would probably even join that swap. Please do not join this swap if you want your cards sent in envelopes. For this swap your A postcard needs to be from a town, city, state, country etc that Start with the letter A. It must be a city, town, continent, you can not send a river, or mountain or other land area, we are looking for cities, states, countries, etc. This is not a map card swap, but yes you can use a map card. The map must begin with A. Dont send a California map and try to count Anaheim as your A place, but sure sending a card from Anaheim, CA card would work. It would need to say Anaheim on the front or back. Sorry for this swap you can not use America, or Asia, but can use Africa and Antarctica, and Australia. Somewhere on the front or the back you must be able to see printed on the card the Place that starts with an A. This word should be printed on the card by the card manufacturer not by you. I can not allow homemade or Zazzle cards for this swap, but check out my zazzle swap in my profile under swaps I am hosting. So you need a store bought, blank touristy postcard, that you write on and stamp and mail naked to your sender. This is a senders choice swap. I dont own this image. I will angel any flakers after you have contacted them twice and have rated them a one. You will get an Arizona card from me if you get flaked. :oP

No just an A card in one week and I will start a B postcard swap later. It could take a while to get the whole alphabet swapped. I thought I would do about 2 a week. I dont have the B up yet.

So when you say you can't use America , do you mean you can't use any places of america either , like Atlanta?

When I say you cant use America, you cant use Detroit in America and have that count, or try to use Central America, or South America to count as a A word. Also you cant use a Country in the continent of Asia and try to make that count as an A place. I Think those areas are too general and will be a disappointment to the recipient.

You can use cities and states in the USA that start with A like Alaska, Atlanta.

Well, since Alaska is really a US State, it shouldn't count either. But Anchorage in Alaska should do it. ;)

I could get off easily by sending one with Australia on it, but I am going to look through my stash and see if I have any from places within Australia starting with A - like Albany, Atherton Tablelands, Airlie Beach (it's a town right near the Whitsunday Islands).

Any state that starts with an A works, Including Alaska. What I mean is dont try to use a CITY like Detroit and count it as America. Plus per the rules the place need to printed on the card front or back. Seldom do postcards list the word America.

Yes, if the cards says an A city or state on front or back then you can send it. It must be printed on the card by the manufacturer not by you.
