Description:

Easy as can be...

Step 1: Grab a security envelope, and carefully loosen the gummed sides.

Step 2: Glue the envelope back together with the security design on the outside.

Step 3: Decorate the envelope with rubber stamped images, collage, or paint, or set it on fire (just kidding). Basically, whatever takes your fancy. (You can also be a rebel and decorate the envelope before you glue it back together...)

Step 4: Include ephemera for your partner. (I would say at least 10 pieces.)

Not sure what ephemera is? Merriam-Webster says:

Full Definition of EPHEMERA 1: something of no lasting significance —usually used in plural 2: ephemera plural : paper items (as posters, broadsides, and tickets) that were originally meant to be discarded after use but have since become collectibles

Step 5: Slap some pretty postage on it and you’re done!

Remember to include both the swap name and your username. Please be courteous and rate promptly upon receiving!

What do you mean by a security envelope?

latentsmile 01/27/2014 #

Copied from the first swap: A security envelope has a pattern printed on the inside, which makes it difficult to see the contents. They are used for bills, bank statements, etc.

A google images search will show you exactly. :)
